Co-Founder, Adrienne Threatt, Shares Reasons Why Emotions Were Flowing During September Serve Day

One of my #favorite parts and yet most challenging parts was at the shelter. Over time we start to form #friendships with some of the families. One of my favorite people at the shelter is Mama J (that's not her real name I'm just calling her that to keep her private). She is who I always look for first when I get there. I tell her she's a Hope Vibes Charlotte VIP 📷😂📷😂📷😂. Mama J was supposed to be moving out this month and getting her own place. Exciting right?!? Yes! Until she told me the #funding was postponed until January so she's moving out of state where she has family. I was excited but I cried like a little baby lol.... Because I will greatly miss her. She probably encouraged me most weeks more than I encouraged her. This is what we mean when we talk about #Hopenomics.... It's the #HopeExchange .... #Hope being given AND received.

I encourage all of you who actually took the time to read all of these recap posts to get involved in this HOPE EXCHANGE. We are constantly looking for people to #donate their time and talents.... We're looking for people to help us spread the word about #HopeVibes by sharing on social media, rocking Hope Vibes t-shirts, connecting us to others who can help.... And we're looking for monthly financial partners. Inbox me or comment below about what role you would like to play in changing lives and ending #homelessnessin our city! Be sure to check out www.hopevibes.org for more information about Hope Vibes and how you can connect! #GiveHopeDaily
