This wonderful mixed crew of kind individuals came together to canvas a few areas in Winston-Salem! One teenager drove 2 hours to serve!
We gave out over 100+ hygiene packs around the Reynolda area, downtown near the bus station and the Bethesda Center area this afternoon!!
Numerous smiling and grateful recipients, it was “especial”!
Many thanked us and appreciated the quality of what was given to them in hygiene product donations and were blown away to know that we are committed to building a full service two shower/ bathroom truck and laundry service for them. ❤️
We continued the discussion of what is needed, and how could we serve you our homeless neighbors in the meantime.
As winter approaches they answered socks, sweatshirts, blankets and food! Check✔️✔️
At the end of the month of September Hope Vibes Triad will bring the Hope Tank from Charlotte, to be displayed at Bailey Park to support our Sheriffs Bobby Kimbrough and the Salvation Army’s work in bringing awareness and support of us being a part of the solution in the area to bring relief to our homeless friends. (Flier is in a picture below.)
Also, hot off the press, “New Church” in Winston-Salem, is not only planning to partner with Hope Vibes Triad by providing a place for our future truck to park to serve the homeless, they will be having a trunk or treat to invite thousands in the area in October!
Once again, anyone can serve, all ages and background are welcome to, three teens and a young professional showed up today (along with a few older folks)!
Did I mention we need a truck?
