Being kind to others or doing "good deeds" isn't something I like to post about on social media, not because it isn't heartwarming to hear about people being kind to others but because I feel when you do good deeds, you don't need validation, praise or pats on the back becasue that isn't the point. One of my #favorite parts and yet most challenging parts was at the shelter. Over time we start to form #friendships with some of the families. One of my favorite people at the shelter is Mama J (that's not her real name I'm just calling her that to keep her private). She is who I always look for first when I get there.
