200+ Volunteers // Over 250 Hygiene Packs Given // Countless Conversations
Wow! Thank you to the 200+ volunteers that came to out to the Hope Vibes Inc #ServeDay today! We had teams who hit the streets, the wall and the women's shelter with hygiene packs and snacks. Then we had basketball and books/games from for the kids! The Factory ice cream truck even came through and gave out 400 free treats at the women's shelter! Opened my front door today and found boxes of feminine #hygiene products! So thankful for you all. I shared a need for our #homeless neighbors and some of you responded immediately. Infused Hope - A Volunteers Experience
Being kind to others or doing "good deeds" isn't something I like to post about on social media, not because it isn't heartwarming to hear about people being kind to others but because I feel when you do good deeds, you don't need validation, praise or pats on the back becasue that isn't the point. I met Auntie Joyce for the first time this weekend. And she rolled up with #snackbags and individually packaged slices of #pizza without even being asked.
